Welcome back to the hutch, Mike. You and Fay have been away too long.
You have a point, K2. It might be cheaper to cruise for three months instead of paying the rental for our lodging and also having to pay for groceries, dining out and many of the other incidental expenses that would be available on the ship.
This next one is only 6 nights and it goes to Jamaica, Labadee, and Nassau, all ports we have visited many times, and isn't free but a very reasonable fee.
Since Rita doesn't drink coffee, I can't get her a cup in the morning, but I do turn on the tea kettle for her when I am brewing my coffee.
Not sure that the Church would certify this event as a genuine miracle but: shortly after we arrived her, my hearing aid ceased working. I took it to a local hearing center and they made an appointment for me to see the audiologist after we came back from the Icon. When we got back, I couldn't find the hearing aid but Rita eventually found it in the laundry (I must have put it in my shirt pocket and it went through the washer and dryer.) I put it in the hearing aid charger overnight and this morning, it is suddenly working. Will still see the audiologist to make sure it is working properly but it is wonderful to be able to hear clearly again.
I've never been a big fan of the Law and Order series but I do watch them occasionally, especially when there is nothing else on worth watchiemperaturng. I do have a bit of a hard time getting used to Christopher Meloni's new look.
Florida's crazy weather continues. It will be 80 today but tomorrow and the following several days the high temperatures are forecast to be in the 60's and 70's, with occasional rainy periods.
