Yes Bill, I always wonder how we used to travel with "paper" books! For that matter, how did we ever go to school carrying our text books, note books, pens, pencils, calculators, slide rules, lunch and so on. At Canada Post there was an article in the collective agreements that allowed for up to 5 working days with pay for family emergencies. As a manager I had the ability to authorize stuff like that for my employees. But I knew all of my "kids" and they were always square with me when it came to such requests.

I have to admit to smiling when I read "Time to see where Bert has wandered off to." Pat. Even with a fresh new hip he's still one step ahead of you, is he. And that is just neat. But now for the most pressing question, did you get your wine?

So, Linda dropped over late this morning with a little thank you for the work the guys did on her shed...

She was quite tickled to drop off OGC wine glasses and a bottle of wine. Even though we all told her it wasn’t necessary.

She also sent a picture of the painted shed. Linda is not doing sunflowers now. Because she is a quilter she has decided to do “quilt“ panels instead. Very befitting of her hobby.

Time to hit the exercise stuff…

You all be good.
