RISE and SHINE WRABBITS..... it's another COLD 54F temp in Pure Michigan. But at least we got some rain that helped bring down some of the air pollution and watered the STRAW-LIKE GRASS!
PAT: Amazing how fast they kick people out of the hospital these days. Don't even send a HIP REPLACEMENT patient to Rehab. Crazy. Hopefully, they will send out somebody to the house to make sure Bert is doing what he's suppose to be doing. All the best with the BED situation.
Just happy the operation is done and Bert is on his way to recovery.
PS: Nice that Gary did get to visit his Dad.
DAVE & LEE: I watched the Canadian Open and saw that LONG WINNING PUTT. FANTASTIC. The ground was wet and it was raining and he pushed it a little more and it worked.
The two players were tied and it was comical how they had to keep RE-Playing that 18th hole. BACK AND FORTH. At least they drove them in a cart to the tee and they didn't have to walk in the rain. He sure made CANADA PROUD!
TORONTO (AP) — Nick Taylor tossed his putter into the air and jumped into the arms of caddie Dave Markle after he made a 72-foot eagle putt to become the first Canadian in 69 years to win his national open, and he doesn’t remember any of it.
He did have a BLANK look on his face when the ball went in for a few seconds. And then realized what he had done! WOW. He'll go down in history.
Equally as good was the Tennis Match that NOVAK (the Serbian) won. It was his 23rd Grand Slam. Great match to watch.
I got a 8:00 a.m. call from one of my doctors that the appointment TODAY needed to be cancelled. Well isn't that ducky. After 4 REMINDER e-mails all week and weekend the DOCTOR had something come up! Lordy, now if I called and cancelled I would be billed a cancellation fee. Wonder if I can do the same to the dear doctor! Not a chance.
Okay, I'm off to make some Cream of Wheat w/Blueberries on top. It's cold enough to make something warm this morning.
You all have a good day. PAT, I know you will be happy to get your "MAN" back home. Amazing how fast all that happened. Glad it worked out for Bert and hopefully he will be pain free and back to his old self real soon. Make sure he drinks lots of WATER! Ha Ha.... you had to know I'd throw that in sooner or later.
