So good to hear from you, K2. And pleased that your surgery appears to have went well. Now you're only going to have to come up with a good story about your two black eyes. Something about you kicking a$$ at a biker bar would be good.

I can be dense at times, BB. So since Bert didn't actually break any bones in his fall, the pain he's been feeling is from bruising and muscle strains? A weird coincidence; I got a craving for some chicken noodle soup yesterday.

I'm with you Bill on the "Alaskan Daily" TV show. And like you, our temperature is going to take a plunge by 20 degrees today. As the pollen count remains extremely high. But little kids are thrilled to see "helicopters" falling from the trees every time the wind blows.

So how did the shed-raising go yesterday, Lee? And did any of you old farts actually read the instructions for the kit? Or just look at the pictures? A picture of it would be cool.

You do know KC that the official first mow of the season only makes the grass grow faster?

No grocery shopping today, just a quick stop for some sugarless 7-Up & ginger ale.
