Good morning, gang!
Lee - You really did it with the Oscar Mayer theme song! Really got people thinking about bologna or baloney as it is also called. Have any of you ever seen the wienermobile in person? We have many times when we lived in NJ.
In NJ Oscar Mayer baloney was not the only and most popular brand. We liked Thumann's baloney and hot dogs. Other friends loved Schickhaus and would buy a 5 pound loaf to bring with them to Florida. I didn't think it was that great. Personally, olive loaf is my favorite.
Kathie - Glad you got that leaf in the basement fixed pretty quickly and that the gizmo helped your thigh feel better.
Dave - Not packing heat just yet, but living here in the wild wild south that may become a thing I'll have to do. I do know a number of women here who have a concealed carry permit, including Missy. Jimmy travels around quite a bit for work at all hours of the day and night. He always carries a gun in the glovebox. Once in a rare while he forgets to take it out. Missy was afraid that if she ever was stopped and the gun was in the car, she better have the concealed permit, so she wouldn't get in trouble. Jimmy is very into guns. Heck, they even take the kids to the shooting range to teach them to shoot. Don't forget we live in Redneck land. Heck, we've got Machine gun America near here, if you get the urge to fire a machine gun. They advertise it as "family fun"!!
I bet Fuzzbutt and Jack will look beatiful after their trip to the groomer.
I've got another pretty slow day ahead. Bert has to go to the dermatologist after lunch. Then this evening we may go tot he Grille to play music bingo. Bert isn't thrilled about going, but I'll drag him along anyway.
Right now I need coffee. Haven't had a cup yet and want it before Bert gets out here. Then I think I'll make some bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches on English muffins. Yummy!!!
Have a great hump day, everyone!
