April Fools Day GIF HAPPY APRIL'S FOOLS DAY!  Whoever started this anyways??

Good Morning gang.  Slept well last night!  Cloudy and 34 degrees here now. The Daffodils

must be wondering if they should go back under for another month. Our Peonies are popping up too. Feel bad for all the plants. I still haven't uncovered our Roses from the protective cones. I'm sure it's going to snow at least one more time!  :emoticon 0101 sadsmile:

DAVE:   Glad that Kathi is going to hopefully get some relief from her knee pain. I KNOW WHAT THAT'S LIKE! OUCH.

The Apple cake that I made yesterday was HORRIBLE. I managed to save the bottom crust and the apples on top of it, but took off the top layer. Art noticed it was different and I had to explain that I wanted to save the apples, but the top was like eating USELESS CALORIES. He just rolled his eyes.

BB... the picture on the one Croatian site on FBook that I belong to just looked so good I figured I'd google translate it. So much for that idea. Ha ha.

BB: Hope that TOE of yours starts to heal for you. Is it an open cut or just a pain in the toe?

Lee:  Nice that you and Lu-Ann got to go out with your friends. Bummer on the uncomfortable chair and the aches that followed.

I saw on last nights NEWS the reporting of NO MORE 72-hour Covid testing to get into Canada. I wonder if you still have to register with the ONLINE site we had to use when we went to Goderich? (forgot the name of the internet program)

Karen:  How's it going over your way. Amazing how much money the units in your complex are getting these days. The problem is that when you SELL nice and HIGH you have to PAY as much or more to move into a new place. Unless you're moving in with somebody there is no big money gain.  Wonder how all the HIGHER SELLING PRICES are going affect peoples taxes?

BILL & RITA's weather at Rockport, MA isn't as bad as it could be. 55's most of the weekend.  Still not the 70 & 80's they have had the last week or so in Florida, but it's not too horrible. Hope they have a safe flight. Can you even imagine what I-75 and the other mail highway out of Florida looks like today at the AIRPORTS.  All those Snowbirds returning home! YIKES.

We're going to go and buy some PRIMER to cover up the REDish color on the walls in the dining room. Still not totally set on a new color, but it will be MUCH LIGHTER than the deep REDish color that has been up there. I happen to like it, but the rest of the family says it's time to UPDATE MOM!! Ha Ha. The lovely drapes are coming down too. I think I was the only one that liked them all these years. They are a little Victorian looking! Ha Ha.

I wish I could GIVE them away to somebody, but they're made for that Bay Window and it would be near impossible to find somebody that not only LIKED the Pattern, but had the same size windows.  I'm going to try and post it on our local Fbook page, but I don't expect any takers.

TRASH MAN just pasted by and picked up 5 bags of our YARD WASTE. Some from last Fall and some from early March when we had some warm weather and raked up the flower beds of leaves. And so it starts..........another season of YARD WASTE in BROWN BAGS being put out on Friday mornings!
