Good ALMOST afternoon Wrabbits! Well, we got more snow earlier and right now it stopped and you would NEVER know we got any snow at all. Looks wet everywhere. That's the kind of SNOW we get in March & even April. But it is COLD outside. 36F! Brrrr
Dave: Kudo's to Kathi for her idea for the Bird Houses. Nice project for the youngster.
BB: I guess Olive oil is better than some of the other oils, but FRYING in general isn't the best for any of us. Glad the sandwiches turned out yummy.
Where are the Crawfish coming from that Fed-X is delivering them to M & J's?
Hope somebody takes a picture of the table full of all the "BOIL"!
Karen: Just horrible how the workers have one excuse after another. Good for you telling the guy BYE-BYE. Sooner or later you girls will find somebody. I'd ask for references and a phone number to check out previous work at this point. Can you former Plumbing Company guys make any suggestions? I'm with you on the BRAIN NOT SHUTTING down and us missing out on sleep. My mistake was to NOT TURN OFF the TV. Got hooked on a story. I think we all need to go to one of those SLEEP CLINICS and have them re-program our minds!
Wonder if this is how they work it? Ha Ha
Lee: I sure hope that the pups appreciate you going to the Navy Park when it's this wet and cold outside. Bless you for all you do for them!
When was the last time you made some Granola? Must be time to do that by now. Good day for it. The oven being on would keep it nice and cozy inside the house.
Nancy: Hope the gravel shows up. I'm sure you want to get that project done. Will you put anything on the sides to keep the gravel from moving into your grass? Like a border of bricks or something?
Bill/Rita: When do they pick up your Automobile? I suppose you have a pile of packed stuff that goes inside of it to save on dragging too much through the airport. Nice that your SON will fly down to make sure you close up the rental and get to the airport and safely home. It's nice to have good kids to help with things like this. Peace of mind for them too after your past track record! I just hope it warms up a little more for your return trip.
When I stopped by the dealership Andy gave me a few options, but most were too confusing for me to totally understand. I have to make decisions closer to MAY. My lease isn't up until Sept 30th. I'm thinking my next car may be the last LEASED car for me. I put less and less miles on my car these days and they way they make auto's these days if you get your oil changed regularly and a occasional tune-up & new tires the car will out-live me!
Okay, not sure what I'm going to do with the rest of my day. I have cheese to make Pierogies and freeze them for future use. Or I could bake something for our Choir's annual Palm Sunday Bake Sale and freeze it and be ahead of the game. Or I could just knit and relax.
I already changed out the bedding and it's in the dryer now.
Later gang. Enjoy your day.
We went to our local favorite Greek restaurant last night and I must admit it was a treat to EAT OUT instead cooking! I had really good Fish & baked potato & soup. And Art had his favorite Turkey dinner. Both were on the Senior specials and $13 bucks each. Just the right amount of food too. We like to sit in the last booth away from a lot of people traffic. Went around 5:00 pm and the rush hour was just starting to pile in as we were leaving. They had some kind of Chilean Bass fish on the menu for $38 bucks! Art said he can't imagine how much of that they actually sell at that price. I'd want linens on the table and a lot more ambiance to pay that for a FISH DINNER!
Enjoy your day folks and be back either later or tomorrow!
