Kathie - I know corned beef is loaded with salt. After rinsing the meat & cutting all the fat off, we cooked the corned beef for 4 hours. I really don't eat a lot of the corned beef and prefer the cabbage and potatoes better. I will wash it all down with Guinness Stout. karen - Hopefully, I will remember to wish you a happy birthday on your REAL birthday. Would you believe I have never gotten iny of the freebies that were available for my birthday!!Our dinner is getting close to being ready. It smells so good in here. Missy came over earlier and made a bathch of green cupcakes for dessert. The other crew, as usual is going to be late. They are coming for dinner, at least a half hour later then I told them for dinner, and then driving back to Melbourne tonight. And I am trying not to stress. I am so ready for them to just move over there and be done with it!!!
