It is more than ironic that while our kids back home in Massachusetts are warm and comfy despite getting more than two feet of snow and outside temperatures in the teens and below, it was Rita and I who awoke this morning at about 8:30 to find the power in the condo was out. Not sure when we lost power but fortunately it came back on about 10am. We did hear from Kevin last night that Jamie is in the hospital. She had a colonoscopy the other day and it appears that something happened and she is in serious pain, so they admitted her, have her on antibiotics and will keep her for at least a few days. She can't even have visitors due to Covid restrictions. The new watch needs to have a few links taken out of the band so I went back to Walmart the next day to have it taken care of but was told that the person who could help me wouldn't be in until the next day. So I went back yesterday only to be told that "the machine" that is needed to perform the task "is broken". There is a jewelry store in the Vero Outlet Mall so I may go there tomorrow and either get that taken care of, or to purchase a new band for my old but more expensive watch.Guess I will be rooting for Joe Burrow and the Bengals in today's contest.Hope that family trying to get back to Boston found a place to stay for a few days,Lee, because I think it may be a few days before Logan is back to operating normally.
