Good afternoon.
A very sincere thank you to all of you for your thoughts about our Big Red Bear. I had somewhat forgotten that he had met most of you and that he was Karen's Tour Guide in Gettysburg.
One would think that after losing pets so many times it would get a little easier. But it doesn't.
Hotter than heck again here today. Weather guessers say it's 84F but feels like 108F. Seems like a perfect day for the AC in the van to become intermittent at best. Of course the first service appointment I can procure at our local Dodge dealer is Friday Sept 3. I'll try a couple of independents early in the week. It gives me something to think about other than my big guy.
Of course Dave, I had to make sure that you didn't say your ankles were swollen. I may have been tempted to ask you when the due date was.
Take it easy out there!
I think that could see Bert smiling from here after getting this kegs Pat! Leftover food AND ice cream cake? Your team is slipping!!
Blueberry pancakes sure sound good Karen! Katie loves blueberries. We usually have fruit, yogurt and granola for breakfast. She never stands at the table - except for breakfast to get her blueberries. Have a god day at the pool.
It was a good morning down by the water Kathie. Not too foggy when we were there. There is an Art show (pictures and jewelry and stuff, not a bunch of guys named Art) in the park around Fort Malden today. I told Lu-Ann to go if she wanted to but I know that in the heat I would be done. Especially with a mask on! She has decided against it for the same reasons. I loved the photo.
Lu-Ann has a T-Shirt that says "Live with Egrets not with Regrets" A good thing to keep in mind.
My thoughts as well go out to all of the brave young men and women still in Afghanistan and the families of those who lost loved ones in another cowardly attack.
OK, I'm off to the treadmill. Now I feel guilty if I don't get my exercise in.
You all enjoy the rest of your day, OK?
