Have a fantastic Birthday Bert. Hope the family treats you like a KING today.

The church this family is coming from had a Parish Home for them on the church property and everything in it stays there. If they have personal things they accumulated while there that would of course be theirs to take. But since this family had to go BACK to SERBIA to RE-apply for a Visa they basically are coming with nothing but their clothes. From what I know the "lawyer" screwed up and didn't file the proper paperwork for a GREEN CARD. So, they had to leave last year and go stay with family until new applications could be processed. They are VERY LUCKY TO HAVE GOTTEN A NEW VISA AS QUICK AS THEY DID.
Being a priest is not a easy calling. That being said.........they are in their 30's and amazingly opinionated! We'll see how things progress!
Our current full time priest owns his own home and everything in it! He's getting ready to retire and just can't handle a huge parish like ours on a full time basis. Hope this helps explain things a little.

Bummer on having to go back and get more sod. Maybe a Friday project since it's HOT by now.
