We sure did get some rain last evening, through the night and around 6:00 this morning. Lots of lightening too. Much to our old Bear’s chagrin.
We did get out to The Navy Yard for our walk. A lot of friends were out early as well.
We like Fat Bastard Dave. Sadly with wine prices here we find ourselves sometimes shopping by price! FB was one of the less expensive selections at $13.00, I think, per bottle. Yep, in this heat 45 minutes was likely a good length of time to be outside.
Wow Kathie. Where do I apply to be an assistant priest in your parish? You folks sure do treat your clergy well. Seriously now, do they get a car and / or a car allowance too?

Seems like Bert has a birthday every year Pat. 39 again? It’s not just pet owners who are showing poor judgment during this heat. We’ve been ragging on friends who insist on playing pickle ball outdoors. For three hours each day from 9 - 12. 
He even passed out from the heat walking along The Irlo Bronson a couple of years back. No hat, no water, no common sense. Then and now.
Not much else to bore you with today. I have (cardiac) rehab tomorrow. The girls that facilitate the sessions knew I wanted to register for The Run this past Tuesday so they switched my day. I think they all get a kick out of me in my tutu and dressed like Mickey.
