Morning Bob! Just what time is your shift on here?
Bye-Bye "Fred"! The rain from that tropical storm passed through here mid-day yesterday and is now heading east. We got by easy with just a light rain while places just 10 miles away got an inch or 2 in a short period causing some flooding.
Today's your day to make a payment on your dentist's boat, K2. The reality is we lost the Vietnam war and the war in Afghanistan. And when that's happened there is no way to get all your people and the locals that have helped you over the years out of country before the "S" hits the fan. After losing the war, I don't think anybody has ever figured out a way to get out of Afghanistan without it being a mess, just like it happened in Vietnam. One group or another is going to get screwed. It's interesting when we mention Vietnam's messed up withdrawal; More than half of the people in the U.S, or Afghanistan weren't even alive when that happened. And have no recollection of it to use as a comparison.
I've got to admit BB that you are the only person I know who has a brand new coffee maker stashed away for when the current one craps out. All things considered you did good on only spending $500 on getting that air conditioner fixed. Hopefully that'll get you into next year when car prices may settle down.
Remember, today is your day off KC. You deserve it. Hope you aren't too sore today.
Lee; As far as throwing things out that used to be on our old shed's shelves.......We took care of that when we emptied it out. Truth be told, most of the stuff on the shelves was just junk we should never have kept. Oh lucky you with your PSA biopsy test today. That's got to be a bundle of laughs. NOT.
We lucked out at the doctor's office yesterday. Although our appointments were hours apart, the doctor did squeeze Kathi in to my earlier appointment, since she was there. I needed to do some testing in the office, and while I was out of the room she took care of Kathi.
Prescription prices are just nuts. I had one $600 medication for a month replaced by another $600 prescription. Thank God, because of my insurance, I only have to pay $150.
Hoping to get on the treadmill in a bit.
