Kathie - Sorry to hear the news about old Nick. But look at it this way - To live to be 99 years old is still pretty rare and that's a life that should be celebrated, not mourned. I have a doctor's appointment at 1. From there we are driving to Orlando so Bert can pick up some White Castles for a surprise for his buddy Jeff. Then we need to come home and pack while we gather up everything else that needs to come with us. I am sure to be exhausted, but hope to still be awake to at least watch Stephen Colbert's monolog.Karen - Enjoy the cookout later. I hope it doesn't rain and mess things up. I'm glad you're getting in one more visit with Amanda and company. So when are you planning to go visit them again. I'm sure that has or will be addressed before they leave.Our dinner last night was really good. We ended up with 2 extras here for dinner - Elaine's oldest son and his girl friend. They were taking Elaine's 2 other son's back to Melbourne with them for the week, so we sent all the leftovers, and there were plenty, with them.
