LEE.....Can you HEAR the GRAND PRIX RACE CAR NOISES from Navy Park? It's a wild and crazy time the next few days. Can't get on Belle Isle unless you PRE-BOUGHT a expensive ticket. That's the only bad thing about having OUR ISLAND taken over by the Grand Prix. They take forever to set up the viewing stands and set up the path that the cars race around and then it takes equally as long to dismantle all of it. But it brings in MONEY to up-grade the island and FANS from all over the world come into downtown Detroit and spend big bucks.I actually went down for a "Pre-Day" race trial one year and vowed never to go back. Too noisy and too much WALKING to get anywhere near where the race cars are. Hope your pills do the trick for your sleep tonight. PAT: I do remember NOW you saying you would be going to NC and spending Father's Day with Brian and visiting your friends. Who gets to watch Cappi for a whole week? Better pick up all your breathing TUBING or she will chew it up while you're gone! Karen: You never cease to amaze me. Building a deck with stairs for Jane's pool is well...UNREAL. But if anybody can do it we all know it's you. Hope you have a power-Nailer. Or that you can rent one. Hate to see you pounding big nails in by hand. Or maybe you'll just be drilling screws for the most part. Throw in some stairs and a POOL somewhere in this cartoon!
