I'm not even going to waste my time wishing you all a good morning, because by the time I finish this, it will definitely be afternoon. Another hot hot hot day around here with little to no chance of rain.
Kathie - Enjoy it outside while you can before the heat moves in. Right now we have a "feels like" temperature of 96! That's too hot even for me. Add to that the humidity and even the ants are sweating!! LOL
Dave - We too shop with a list, but if I go into the supermarket, I guarantee the bill will be higher. Now if Bert does the shopping, he will rarely ever add anything to the cart, unless it's something that he really wants. He never thinks of anything I might want.
Lee - Time for you to check in and let us know how you made out on your phone conference with the doctor yesterday.
Bill - How's things going up your way? How's Rita doing? Any idea when she'll be coming home to the new house? I bet she's eager to get sprung from rehab.
We had a nice time at G&E's last night. Elaine made Gary's favorite dinner, tortellini and of course, there was a Carvel Ice Cream Cake. She gave him such neat presents. She bought him some raw peanuts for them to cook up. The neatest gift though was a certificate that in August when one of the space X rockets goes up to the space station, there will be an American flag on the rocket and will be hung outside the space station. Then after a certain amount of time it will be returned to earth and sent to Gary telling how many miles it flew in space. How cool is that?
Just got a message from them. I knew she had planned a secret trip for them for the weekend. They are spending the weekend in St. Augustine. They spoil each other so much, but enjoy every minute of it! She's definitely a keeper!!
Been having some breathing issues the past few days, so I broke down and called the doctor's office this morning. Of course, they won't send me anything without seeing me, so I have to go into the office on Monday to be seen by a different doctor. In the meantime the nurse told be to take Claritin D. I did, so now we shall see if it helps. She said that with all the allergy crap in the air, that could be the cause of the breathing issues. I sure hope so as this really stinks with vacation due to start on Tuesday.
Not much planned for today. Time to eat up all the leftovers we have, as we clean out the refrigerator.
