OOPS! That hour is actually 8:00 - 9:00 Dave.
We arrived a tick after 8:00 and walked right in. My first time in any Big Box or grocery store since "The Procedure" so I used the shopping cart as my walker. Because of the lockdown you could only get pet stuff, food for people and the pharmacy. All other "non essential" products were blocked off by skids and pallets. By the time we came out at 8:45 there was a real good line of folks waiting for the 9:00 hour so they could go in.
It was double star day at Starbucks so we popped over there and split a low fat turkey bacon breakfast sandwich and a couple of roasted red pepper "egg bites".
A bit of drizzle on the way home but nothing here so we bundled the puppy kids into the car for their walk by the river. It wasn't as nice as yesterday's walks in the sun but it's still a nice walk.
I found out that The Navy Yard is the site of an old coal yard! The city fathers saw fit back in the day to reclaim the land and give us the beautiful park and gardens we have today!
All in all a good start to the day. I hope the same can be said for all of you too!
