Kathy - You already know what I was referring to when I said I had a lot to talk about today.  Just as we were getting ready to call it a night, Missy got a call from Jimmy who stayed home to mow the lawn.  While he was mowing, their beautiful black Lab pup got into a box of rat poisoning, which they have to use since the property behind them got cleared.  The rats come into the chicken coop.  But to continue - Gypsy ate all the rat poison plus the box it was in, so they couldn't tell what the ingredients were.

Missy told Jimmy to call the emergency vet and to make the dog vomit asap.  In the meantime, Jimmy called poison control, was on hold got over an hour and finally hung up.  Jimmy took the dog to the vet and the vet thought by making her vomit, they got most of the poison out of her, but gave her something else, just in case.  Now it's a matter of wait and see.  Please also keep  Missy, Jimmy and the kids in your prayers as they all were very upset last night before they left.  The kids were both crying as Gypsy is probably the best dog they ever had.

And no, Kathie, I did not drink a whole bottle of that wine last night.  Actually, didn't have much last night at all.  Too busy eating seafood.  Even after 2 nights of everyone feeding their faces, there still was stuff left that we sent home with both families.  Also sent them home with desserts too.

Lee - Those pictures from the Navy Yard that Lu-Ann posted are so beautiful.  Also please wish her a happy birthday from us.

Bill - Come out, come out from wherever you are and tell us how the move is going and how Rita is doing.

And so my tale ends.  What's on tap here today?  Aside from a trip to the library, not much is planned, so we'll be winging it.

Have a good day, everyone.  :)
