Karen: The kids did get the patio awning up last week. Eric brought up the 4 metal chairs. They're not extremely heavy, but it was nice not to have to bring them up myself.
Ash had a nice Birthday dinner and then it was cake time and coffee for Art & myself. She looked like she liked the gifts. Whew!
Karen hope you can get a good nights sleep tonight. I've had 2 nights with tossing and turning, but NOT ENOUGH to get me up and CLEANING. Ha Ha. Although I actually like cleaning at night. Old habit from way back when Art was on the AFTERNOON SHIFT. I'd clean until he came home so I wouldn't make noise while he slept late in the mornings.
The Air-Fry dinner sounds good.
Good idea to do the driveway CRACK yourself. Gotta love YouTube videos. We need to do a patch by our sewer drain in the street in front of our house. I've called for 2 yrs and they fixed it once, but it has cracked and dropped and needs to be re-done. With Covid and a lack of staffing I'm sure they would tell me to "GET OVER IT LADY" of I called for a repair. Ha Ha
Pat hope you got to eat at the grille alone tonight.
Jill's subdivision is having a weekend Sub Sale. She's finally going to put out the desk that was once mine when I was in School. I used it, Jill used it and then Art painted it White and put new handles on the drawers and a laminate top on it and Ashley had it in her room. I must say that she only used it for a very little time and then it became a desk to keep books and "girly stuff" on. Anyways, it's going to go into the SALE tomorrow. I hope it finds a good home. I so wanted to bring it back home with me, but WHY??? I don't need more useless stuff around here. It served it's purpose. My Mom bought me that desk for me.
Have a good Friday folks.
LEE: I tried to pull open the freezer tonight and had to use BOTH HANDS and thought of you. It's a real AB-Builder doing that. Ha Ha. Take care. Get outside and walk around in your yard. Sunshine can't be bad for you.
