Hi Gang.

Drove to the East side of town....45 mins....and got to the dentist office and waited in the parking lot for 10 mins and out comes the Dentist himself! I roll down the window and he says I have some bad news. The water heater broke in the bldgs basement and when he went to shut off the water so it wouldn't keep running that knob broke. Long story short he said he would have a hard time cleaning my teeth and asked if I could re-schedule! NOT a PROBLEM at all. So I get back on the freeway and drive home! Nice waste of a morning. Feel bad for the dentist having to get his water heater and plumbing fixed.  He's handy, but not sure if he'll be doing this himself or not.

Got home and there was a PKG at the front door. Bring it in and it's a HUGE Poinsettia plant from our friend Elaine! WOW....like she didn't need to do that. I called her and she was glad I liked it. I sent her a picture. It's HUGE and has pine cones and pine branches in it too. It's a deep pink. So thoughtful of Elaine.

She went on to tell me about a guy that Mike had just purchased a month before he passed. She called the company in South Carolina and they said under the circumstances they would take it back and credit her Visa card. $1750 buck. UNREAL. Who spends that much on a gun!!  She had to take it to a certified gun dealer close to her and sign papers and pay him $75 bucks to insure and package it and return it to the dealer. Amazing what you have to go through with guns.  She gave another Smith & Westin to Mike's nephew. She has a $750 gun  It's like the gun from 007 movie. She's having the Nephew help her sell that. One friend of theirs is interested. She said she would give it to him for $500.00

And last but not least he has a full size 'jacked-up' riffle that he kept in the hallway closet. She's getting rid of that too. UNREAL.......we have known Mike almost all our lives and never knew he was into expensive guns. CRAZY.  She still has the Rubicon Jeep to sell. She's losing money every month just letting it collect dust in the garage. I told her the price our Mark found for her ( $25,000- 27,000) is a good price and she should have sold it to the guy Mark had lined up for her 2 months ago. Oh well, Mark said he's done trying to help since Elaine is still into the HOLDING ONTO stage.  She's getting better slowly.

We told her to tell Stacey her daughter NOT TO COME HOME for CHRISTMAS. She's in the Santa Barbara area and doesn't need to be traveling around at Christmas and picking up Covid germs. She can come in late Jan. The Thanksgiving SPIKE will be happening in a couple weeks and the last thing she needs is to be in a airport or plane with a lot of people.

DAVE: How's your Kathi doing today?  OUCH is all I can think of!!  Hope she feels better.

Art was SO HAPPY he cancelled his dental cleaning and went on the bike ride after I told him about the water issue at the dentists office. Whew.......he would have really been ticked off if he had missed his bike ride. It's actually rather nice outside.

Ohio State is beating MSU's butt right now in football. Bummer

Negc: How you doing buddy? Feeling better everyday? Hope so.

BB: Mark says STANDING is the best position for him right now. He leans on the Crutches to keep the weight off the hip. Gotta let all those inside stitches heal.

Glad your dinner went well at the Grille. And good to know you'll get the Virus vaccine. I'll take it too. I just hope they give the shots to the Hospital workers and Nursing home WORKERS and PATIENTS first. Except for grocery store runs, I basically stay home or just pick stuff up at curbside. Those workers in nursing homes are the ones infecting the residence in those places. The resident folks don't go in and out and have been on LOCK-DOWN to their rooms for months. I feel so sorry for my brother and 98 yr old NICK. They deserve better. TEST those WORKERS BETTER is my advice.

Okay, out of here for now.

LEE: Hope you and Lu-Ann are okay over your way. STAY SAFE and stay inside.
