And once again, I am back.Rita - Sounds like a very nice Thanksgiving. Did you have to do all the cooking or did others help out? Who cleaned up afterwards? I fixed and cooked all the veggies. M&J brought everything outside to the table. Bert grilled the steaks. Both guys did the dishes and put everything away. Then it was time for the key lime pie I made. We definitely divided up the work, so no one had to do it all.It was nice seeing Emily the other day, but she'd rather play with the dogs than talk to anyone. Most of her responses are only a few words or a grunt or shrug. Not very friendsly, but we did get a hug when we were leaving. She's really looking for those Christmas gifts. I bet she'll show up on Christmas Eve here too! That's what she did last year and she hasn't been here since. She really does worry me. She's a high school senior and has never gone on a date. She refuses to learn how to drive and is only interested in getting a job at Sea World. Not very lofty goals at all. Sad ...I think I'm going to take advantage of the fact that no one has shown up yet and take myself off to the lanai (82 degrees!) with a glass of wine and my book, while I still can today.
