Limon
Its quite a deversified stop with MANY offerings. Perhaps this =photo will provide some hints. :grin
.
Time to move on to the next Port Call on our C@NAL Group Adventure Series. :grin
Limon was probably our Favorite stop on the P@N@M@ group cruise in 2004. There are MANY options at this stop in regards to shore excursions for the MORE adventuresome folks in the Group. :dance The whitewater rafting tours are excellent as are the rain forest and wildlife tours.
For the NOT so venture prone group members the town offers a few option within a close stroll of the pier.
There is a VERY nice shopping area right at the end of the pier and there are several smallish bars close by for that cool refreshment. :grin

You can take a river tour through the rain forest. The guide was very well trained and the boats stayed in touch via radio telling each other when wild life was spotted. It was one of the most satisfying four-hour tours we have been on. We got a lot of great photos of the local wild life. The cruise ended with a stop for a bowl of fresh local fruits. And the bus back to the ship toured through a large banana plantation as an added bonus.
Or take the jungle tram tours
