I'm back we were lucky last night and tornados went south of us.. I was worried abt those wh live east of us like Corky, Red E, I will be glad when this part of spring and summer is over. We had lots of rain and wind. We are having an extra lot of really unusual birds this morning-we need air traffic control out by the bird feeders. We have two hummer feeders andabt 5 finch feeders and suet feeder out in front of big window in front where Paw can sit in his chair and watch them. A great show this morning.. The feeders haning on deck are just as busy. Usually on Motehrs day we have a lot of extra visiters in area but guess everyone is passing on much driving with the cost of gasoline. I imagine I will have a call from Mark and his family later. Hzd the Princess around a couple f days so has been a good holiday for me.

I am sending special hugs to those who have lost their mum recently and to those who won't be able to see their families . You don't have to be a mum to share this holiday you just have to share your usual loving care. Hugs all.

Good morning Maw and a Very Happy Mothers Day to you!! =hug

Thank you for thinking of us with the bad weather. I too hope that anyone East and South of us stays out of harms way. We are only getting the winds. Right now it is quite though, but it will be whipping again here shortly. It is coming in spurts.

I'm slowly thinking about getting dressed for the day. :) I am also thinking about reading the paper here in a sec. and seeing what is at the movie theater. My girlfriend Pam suggested a movie maybe today, so I'll see what is playing.

Happy Day C@'s!!

Afternoon maw and Corky. Had a busy weekend here dodging the rain showers. This weekend was spent repainting the windows on the house that were in need of some sanding. priming and repianting. Got the backside of the house done and the screens rescreened and back on so now its on to the front of the house before the heat sets in for the summer. Hope U both had a Gr8 Mothers Day and enjoyed it. :thumb ttyl

glad that you and Maw are too. I was worried when I read the paper this morning.

So far it is quite here today Red - and after yesterdays Wind Tunnel - all day long - it is almost eerie.

Hey Red - I have tons of plums on my two plum trees. I planted them two years ago. Hopefully by the end of summer I'll have plenty ripe ones to eat. I am very excited! I don't have any peaches though on the peach tree that I planted. Maybe those will come out here in a bit. :)
