  • Pumpkin Custard Crumble Pie.....oven 350 degrees
    single layer pie crust in regular pie tin.

    Crumble top-make and set aside..
    use either walnuts or pecans.
    one cup chopped, add 1/2 cup flour, 1/2 cup sugar,3 tablespoons melted butter.

    Apple layer-4-6 apples peeled,sliced,add 1/2 cup sugar,3 tablespoons flour, 1tsp lemon juice, 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon,mix together,set aside.
    pumpkin custard-
    2 eggs, 1 & 1/2 cup pumpkin( either home-made or can).1 cup evaporated milk,1/2 cup sugar ,2 tablespoons melted butter,1/8 th teaspoon nutmeg,3/4 teaspoon cinnamon,1/4 teaspoon salt.mix all together.
    oven on 350 degrees, take apples and line bottom of single pie shell,add pumpkin custard,bake in oven 1/2 hour.take out add crumble top .bake another 20-30 minutes in oven, cool, then chill.serve.
