Does anyone know exactly what proof they need of a negative test. Does it have to be written or can it be emailed?
Taking a cruise out of Miami on September 10th
Can anyone recommend a place to get the test in that area. I am arriving on September 6th in Miami.

The test has to be Proctored... Depending on where/how you get the test done it may be printed, emailed to you, or on a app you can show to the cruise line at time of boarding.

To my knowledge, testing is no longer required. Go to Carnival.com to see the current COVID protocols

Some regulations for Carnival will change on the 6 September. If you meet the requirements you do not need to be tested. Info on line but if you have any doubts about requirements contact your Cruise Line direct.
