Noise is not an issue. We were on Deck 6 (6311) and heard nothing (on the Explorer).There are some adjoing cabins. You can check a deck chart for yourself or I can tell you if you are in one if you tell me which ship and cabin numbers. There are 8 sets of adjoing cabins just on Deck 7 of the Navigator, for example.Warning. We chose a Promendate guarantee. They upgraded us from that to Deck 2, port hole, ocean view. How nice! I wasn't happy and made them switch us back to a Promenade cabin.When it comes to real activities on the Promenade, it is more fun to be down there in the action (parades and such) than watching from your Promenade cabin. Even with the crowds!
