Obviously this will change when items are firmed up but here it IS. Please add your comments and if U wish to something added or changed we are open to it before the final version is finalized. :) One item I do know that will need some input is from the Billiard Tourney Group and to their take on the timing of the event. :thumb We are thinking right now that the golf tournament will be held at perhaps 10 AM on Day # 8 but are still in discussion mode. :lol

This is very odd...I swear I responded to this yesterday - so here goes again!

Looks great to me, E and thanks for posting it!!

Earl - when do you think we should have the tourney...in the AM or make it from 2 - 4 right before the Cocktail Party?

Thanx Corky. :thumb I think that we have a nice mix of busy days and R & R days so that EVERYONE should not fell like they are being RUN ragged. :grin

.

E - I agree and I know that days 6 & 7 are Full Days for us for our excursion's and we will need to rest up before and after those days. Actually, I see lots of naps and reading happening on this cruise. :D

Maybe in the afternoon right after lunch. 1 or 2 o`clock. I think it would be wise to reserve the tables,
I can go to the front desk on our first day and see if it possible to do that.
we can play doubles or singles depending on how many want to play.
I am open to any suggestions . I wonder if there are any dart boards .

Looks good to me E :thumb but so I see a bit of cut and past :lol as "AMIGOS" gift exchange...but then we are all friends :)

Good catch De3nise as that missed both sets of our eyes. :grin Thankfully I have adjustments to make prior to the FINAL Activity List is published. :dance

Can you explain further about the gift exchange. how does this work and how much should
we spend. I am all for it. I just want to know how it works.

Earl - each person who wants to participate brings a gift. So if you and Rosemary each want to participate then you'd each bring a gift. The gift needs to be wrapped or put into a bag and closed. If it is a Christmas ornament then it must be wrapped or bagged in Christmas wrapping or a Christmas bag so those who do not celebrate Christmas do not pick that type of gift. We put our name in the bag or box so the person who picks it knows from whom and from where the gift came from.

How much? Well, that I am not sure of but maybe $5 - 10 dollars? If I am wrong then someone please chime in.

The gift are all put on a table and Red (I think) calls out the names of all who are participating, one at a time, and the person whose name is drawn goes up and picks a gift, opens it right then, and lets everyone see it.

This is a lot of fun and a good ice breaker. :)

Oh, wrap the present after you get on the ship. If you wrap it beforehand, it will get mussed up during your travels. I personally like bags. Bags seem to be the easiest as they lay flat in your suitcase. And don't forget a roll of scotch tape. :)

we usually put gifts in little shopping bags, I hate wrapping gifts. this way its so much easier
and you get to use the bag again to give to someone else.
today its raining here and will probably change to sn ow tonite. Is there any way to speed up the time!!!!!

Next request - More information on the "garbage can party" ??????

I am also interested in this garbage can party!!! I hope it has to do with booze.

The Garbage can party is something that we instituted MANY years ago. It falls at the end of the cruise for a VERY GOOD reason. That reason being that many folks still have some leftover liquor whether it be wine, champagne, or the hard stuff and it makes NO sense to carry it back home. So the garbage can party was drummed up to rid US of the excess packing chore and to serve as a FINAL get together for the Groupies in one of the Groupies cabins. Usually the one with the largest balcony and cabin space. :) Folks also bring mixers, leftover snacks and there is usually a select few that head out and get some delicacies from the buffet area to bring to the cabin. It usually lasts for about an hour or so but has been known to carry on til ALL the stock is gone. Needless to say that nights dining is quite an adventure sometimes. :grin Hopefully this puts enough detail into the explanation but if there are further questions then feel free to asks. :thumb

Sounds like a great idea.Any excuse to have a party is fine with me. does any body have a suite or
a junior suite.

No suites or Jrs but we do have a nice BIG Aft Balcony and a handicap cabin as part of the group. :dance Next month we will have to put our Heads together and make a decision and which cabin it will be in. :grin

.

Right now the Group Activity List is nearing Final approval and it looks like its falling into place just as we thought it might. As Group Leaders we will provide gifts for the 1st Place Winner in both the Mini Golf Tourney and the Pool Billiards Torney. :thumb

Everyone look over the Activity List and if there is something missing PLEASE let US know as we are down to the 40 day count and time is a Flyin By. :dance We will need to put a time on the Billiards Tourney so let US know what that time is. I believe I saw 1:00 PM somewhere??? :thumb
