Prayer and Good Thoughts for Shipmaven, Please!

I just hung up from speaking to Sis. They were going out to dinner last night before the concert and she tripped off the curb. She spent the evening in the E. R. getting 40 or so stitches in her left knee. It did not, however, damage the prosthetic. Needless to say, the missed both dinner and the concert.

She also had to cancel her upcoming Crystal cruise.

Today, she's tied up with various Doctor's appointments so if you try to call and/or email, please don't expect a quick response.

Thank heaven for her Friend, Jean, with who she's staying. She's an absolute Godsend!

Oh, good grief!!!!!! Mary Ann, did you get the "Maw virus"?????? You know, the one that makes you fall flat on your face and do bodily damage???????? The good part is that if you didn't have a bionic knee already, you would be getting one this week. Is there anything any of us can do to help?

Note to Judi: If Mary Ann didn't have her friend Jean, Jacquie would have been on the next plane to Arizona! I still will, if necessary.

I just spoke with a very sore Mary Ann who plans to have a pain pill with dinner. She had Jean take her home this afternoon to get a few things done that were absolutely necessary, but she and Pucci are with Jean for the evening. We weren't on the telephone very long as she was expecting a call from one of the doctors, but she said poor Pucci is frantic, but getting better. Her Travelscoot arrived and will be assembled this weekend, so I told her to use it. She would appreciate your prayers and good wishes, as it will be several days before she begins to feel better.

I'm so sorry to hear that you are so banged up. I find that I have become very clumsy....it doesn't take much for me to step off of a curb wrong or trip over something. I sure hope that you heal rapidly and are back on your feet soon. 40 stitches are A LOT of stitches.
