Don't know the tour you are talking about but I saw this website that might be interesting to you and something else to consider besides Carnival.  <www.bcpassport.com>  This offers several interesting tours up to Grouse Mtn and other interesting spots.  Actually, it sounds pretty interesting to me too - next time I plan a trip - I will check these out myself!
