Here is a pic of Tim and his girlfriend from when he was home in August. Since he was injured in the roadside bomb last Thursday, he is in a hospital in Kuwait and will be there for about 30 days and is expected to make a full recovery. He has first degree burns, cuts & bruises and a broken toe. Received a call from his Captain on Saturday and he told me that the reason Tim and the other soldiers survived, is that they did exactly as they were trained. Tim ended up pulling the driver (who was unconscious) out also. His captain called to tell me that my son is a hero (I already knew that but it sure was nice to hear). I do appreciate all your support. Sorry the pic is so large, but I didn't know how to make it smaller.

:wave :wave :wave

What a handsome young man. I am so glad to hear he is going to be alright. Please tell him we are so proud of him and to thank him for everything he has done for our country!!!!

What a good looking son you have! You have every right to be so proud of him. And his girlfriend is very pretty too. They make a nice looking couple.

Best wishes for your son to be safe and home soon.

This is the first I've heard of what must have been an agonizing week for you. I'm so glad he is going to be OK. I also think he was a hero long before he pulled anyone out of a truck! He was a hero the minute he volunteered to do what he does!

Donna thanks for sharing info abt your son. Still praying for his speedy recovery. Stay safe Tim.

What a handsome young man your son is! "There's just something about a man in uniform that is irresistable!" :grin I am so happy to read that he will make a full recovery. I'm praying that it will not be too long before your (and America's) hero is safely home again.

Donna, he is a handsome young man for sure. I'm so glad that he will be alright. Yes, Tim is a HERO! God bless him.

My prayers and deepest respect for your son and your family. My brother came home just before Christmas 2 years ago from Kuwait after a 3 year tour. I hope he makes a speedy recovery, may God bless him.

Donna, thanks for the update!! Ron just asked me tonight if you'd posted any news on how Tim was doing.

He is OUR hero, too! :) I can hear the "smile" in your post, and know that hearing from his captain had to be great!

Prayers will continue that his recovery goes smoothly, and that he is soon state side. In the meantime, we thank him (and his parents) for his service to our country!!

He is our hero, and so are his parents! What the 3 of you go through every day is beyond what I can imagine. My prayers for his safety and those of all who serve our country.
