My wife Charlene and I are travelling on the Carnival Freedom on June 6, 2009 and are interested in meeting others on the cruise to discuss shore excursion opportunities. We have taken numerous cruises over the years and have always been fortunate enough to find great tours and guides (on our own). However, Panama may pose a safety issue and Charlene is concerned. We have tentatively booked with My Friend Mario for the Panama Canal tour and are wondering if anyone who might be reading this post has booked the same tour. Trip advisor and other forums seem to all have good reviews...but Charlene would feel much better knowing in advance someone else who is planning to take this tour. BTW we are celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary on this cruise.
