We took today off to watch the Queen Victoria in Los Angeles. She is a beautiful ship, we were very jealous of the people onboard ;-)

it was all over the news here in California and they said that 800 people were aboard they even showed inside it was just a great looking ship I would love to sail on her I can dream.

My cousin was on that sailing. It is a 24 day cruise to Australia I think. When I heard that they were going I must have turned green. Well, I could never afford the fare for that trip unless I win the lottery!

While I haven't rushed out to sail on QM2, I would like to try Queen Victoria...AND...the future Queen Elizabeth. Some friends of friends sailed on QV's maiden voyage/transatlantic voyage (back to back) - died-in-the-wood-Cunarders - and were very disappointed. Didn't like her furnishings, service, food. I'm still curious for my own sake, though. Just have to find the time to fit her in!
