Our Fondue Dinner Tonight

Everything turned out fine. We didn't burn the house down either although there is a fire on Main Street tonight. I own a business on Main Street and got a call something was on fire. A quick run to town and it wasn't our building. It is also far enough away we should stay safe. Hopefully they can contain the fire and keep the damage to a mininum.

Anyway, back to dinner. Since I have learned to post photos I thought I would share a few with you:

First off, she is hard to see but Zsa Zsa is looking for New Year's ot the window. I told her it was coming! LOL

Yum, LOVE fondue. Susan has a fondue pot so when I come to visit we sometime do that. We also love to go to the Melting Pot restaurant. Glad you enjoyed it.

What is it about the holidays and fire?? It seems every year there are homes and businesses that burn to the ground...often with a huge loss of life. I'm so glad that the fire in your town spared your business and I hope no one was killed or hurt.

Your fondue looks like it was wonderful! We haven't done one in a very long time. Perhaps it's time to pull the fondue pots out of the cardbox box in the storage room (they've never been unpacked since our last move) and try it again. It is such an unrushed way to have dinner and the conversation that happens over the fondue pot is always excellent.

Happy New Year Whimsy!

We had chocolate fondue last night for dessert also. We had marshmallows, pretzels, potato chips, graham crackers, strawberries, pineapple, and bananas to dip. Yummmo.
