On line check in

We are a family of 5 and have 3 rooms booked .

I have been searching for a way to get us all booked in for the same time slot. But as everyone must check in themselves and 1 set of rooms will not be able to go on line till later in the day, they will not be able to get the same time slot as I will.

We are all staying at the same hotel, so we will all be arriving at the port at the same time with probably 3 different time slots.

I have DM Royal and they said they couldn't or wouldn't help. This is our first time cruising with them and so far not impressed.

My question is if we all show up together for the first time slot, will we all be able to get thru? Or are some people going to be standing around waiting for their slot at the Tampa port.

Much will depend on what is going on at the terminal when you arrive. The whole point of booking slots is to manage the people checking in so that lines are not too long and you don't have to wait. At times things are busy and they enforce times at other times things are nice and they take who ever is there. I would not stress about this, if you all show up together the worst is some may have a slightly longer wait but likely they will take you all together.

Update for anyone else wondering. Time check in is super easy. I have the other 2 reservation linked, so I just went on to everyone else's check in and selected the time and saved. They then went on to complete their check in at their leisure.

Royal support should have known this and just told me.
