Oh Denise....Thank You!!!!

Denise - I wanted to say thank you for the recommendation to Collin Street Bakery & their fruitcake. Mine arrived today and I opened it with some trepidation. I like fruitcake but have not had much success with ones bought - one year I bought one from the Trappists and it was so soaked in whiskey/bourbon that I couldn't even eat it! This one is very nutty and has a nice flavor!

I plan to christen it tomorrow with some amaretto and let it mellow for Christmas. I also am thinking of sending one out to my family.

Glad you are happy with it Meg...mine is soaking in the amaretto as we speak Yes Corky, they are in Texas. I was introduced to them by my Ex-SIL's mother....they moved here from Texas.
