I am sorry about the cancer, however, I don't see this as MSC's fault. They are clear on the paperwork they send as to what the due dates are so that puts that responsibility back on the consumer. If you booked with a travel agent and they did not remind you I would agree that this is an issue with the travel agent but if you booked directly with MSC than you are assuming responsibility for your travel plans and that would mean meeting the payment dates.
