Please tell me there are other places to lounge in the sun besides right by the pool (that’s all I’ve seen from photos found so far).

Also, is there any place on this ship to sit on deck to watch the wake?

And, is there a promenade deck for lounging/dozing in the shade?

I’m still trying to convince myself to try RCI again, and have decided I’m not interested in the ‘rock climbing' ships. Also, NE is sailing out of my homeport for the holidays so that’s very enticing.

Enjoy the evening! :daisy

The only place to lounge in the sun is by the pool and then on the next deck up from the pool, just like on other ships. It has a full wrap around promanade deck on deck 6. Also on the promanade deck which is fairly wide they have lounge chairs to sit and read a book, take a nap or just watch the time go by. The best place to watch the wake is from the Viking crown lounge area. The Nordic is a smaller ship, but it is beautiful and well laid out. It has a very nice atrium area full of sun light. It has a very nice two level dining room that has windows on all 3 sides with huge ones along the back. You can watch the wake from the back tables of the dining room also. It also has a two level casino which is nice. The usual glass elev. in the atrium, with a beaded waterfall by them. The standard cabins are small but good storage. The Cat.C balcony cabins are nice. My husband and I love sailing on the Nordic, we have sailed on her 4 times and are going for a 5th in Dec. We also enjoy sailing out of Tampa so it is perfcet for us. Hope you go and enjoy the Nordic as much as we do. It is not a floating city and it either does or will soon have the rock climbing wall as RCI is putting them on all there ships. But it is not like the Voyager class, it has all the usual bars and nooks to hang out along with the casino just not all the extra that Voyager class has. It has more than enough to do without being huge. Did I mention the Nordic has alot of class as well!

PS. I was so busy telling you about the Nordic I forgot to mention one of the other places to watch the wake is from the aft section of the promanade deck 6.
