Hello, I am taking my daughter off a cruise in August. We have never been before.
Please can you help me with a couple of questions?
Do you have to book things like entertainment shows / cinema / deck games etc before you board?
Do you have to book entertainment when after you get on board and do you need to be quick so you don’t miss out?
Many thanks.

Hi
Have you chosen a cruise line? I’ve never had to book to attend a show or game or trivia on Holland America, Princess (haven’t sailed with them in the last 10 years though), nor Celebrity, however, I have heard of others that have more Broadway like shows you have to book asap or risk missing! The only thing besides shore excursions and specialty meals that of course need to be reserved was a painting class on HAL because space was limited but they do their best to accommodate and sometimes there are walking when guests don’t show up. Name the cruise line/ship if you can for others to respond more accurately.

Ok. Thanks. Cruising with P&O out of Southampton, England. Just not sure how it all works.
