Kevin J. Maskall
Kevin Maskall passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at the age of 19. He was born in Edison, and was a lifelong resident of Franklin Township. He went through the Franklin Township Public Schools and continued his education at Somerset County Vocational and Technical High School. He was currently employed by Loweâ€™s in Hillsborough.
Kevin was a dedicated Chicago Bulls fan who loved playing basketball with his many friends. He was also a music lover who enjoyed playing the guitar. Kevin loved taking cruise vacations with his family as well as trips to many other vacation spots.
Kevin was pre-deceased by his paternal grandparents: Andrew and Marie Maskall and his maternal grandparents; John and Nancy Hurley.
Kevin is survived by his loving parents and brother; Jeffrey and Patricia Maskall and Ryan Maskall, all of Somerset. He is also survived by his Aunts and Uncles: Andrea and Frank Mahovetz of Perth Amboy and Gary and Margaret Hurley of Freehold and his two cousins: Brian Hurley and Erin Maniscalco.
Friends and family may visit from 4-8 PM on Wednesday at the Gleason Funeral Home 1360 Hamilton Street in Somerset. Services will begin at 9:15 Thursday at the Gleason Funeral Home followed by a funeral service at 10 AM at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Somerset. Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Somerset.
OMG Jeff and Patti, I am so heart broken for you both. I as so sorry I missed your post yesterday. Bill and I send you both and Ryan our deepest condolences. Our thoughts and prays will be with you and your whole family in this diffcult time. God Bless you all and God Bless Kevin.
