My favorite  part of the Majesty....the crew and the convenience of not have to get up early in the a.m. or the day before and fly to Florida... We  like to  compare it to  driving to  a nice hotel in Boston  and waking up a day or so later in beautiful Bermuda and I love being docked in  St. George and now with the high speed ferries you can get to the Dockyard  in no time.. Hamilton is like downtown Boston...on one side are all the shops...the other side the cruise ships...We love wandering the cobblestoned streets in St. George.  This year I was able to wander the streets most tourists don't see in St. George and found wonderful little scenes, homes and  gardens. The people in Bermuda actually are friendly towards tourists and will go out of their way to help you, whether to recommend another shop or give directions. This year while wandering Hamilton spotted a lovely statue at the Arts Center near the re-located bus stop and a garden we had yet to discover in all our trips.  Of course, now that we have discovered the Swizzle Inn (on the bus route) having lunch and a half of pitcher of Rum Swizzles or Dark and Stormies...and watching the people parade.  What to do...on one  trip we took  a  5  hour tour of the island by bus...Gibbs Lighthouseand all the beaches,  have taken a horse and buggy ride around Hamilton one evening.. and missed out again doing it in St. George this year.  Just know.. that in a year or so.. quaint Bermuda will be inundanted with  huge cruise ships...my beloved Majesty will be gone... Royal Caribbean is locating two ships in Boston and one will be heading towards Bermuda..Personally, I think it's a mistake but tourism is big business..In talking to the manager of a china shop he is upset that more hotels are not going to be built and more cruise ships.  Cruise ship passengers do not buy his china and hotel people do.  Due to the economy we noticed several of our favorite shops had merged and a few had closed in Hamlton.   Have a wonderful time...enjoy
