I agree you should look nice for dinner, but I am not sure why a man can't wear dress shorts. My husband is a very classy dresser and has many Tommy Bahama collared shirts that look awesome with linen dress shorts. He has nice deck shoes and looks very well put together in the ensamble and I wish he could dress that way more often on the casual nights.:sunny:
