We just returned from a Caribbean cruise on msc seaside yacht club. Yacht club is a large area in front of the ship on top 3 decks. Price is very reasonable I think for what you get, recently we have been cruising either celebrity or rccl suites.
Yacht club has just 3 types of cabins , we had basic balcony which was a little over 250 sq ft also nice balcony and modern bathroom with large walk in shower. Mini bar has lots of snacks, water , juice , soda and liquor at no additional cost they also replenish daily , also no charge for room service. They also offer a very large royal suite and also fairly cheap inside cabins.
I know I will forget to mention some of the perks buthere are some
Premium drink package that includes yacht club and all bars on the ship ,this covers all drinks 12 dollars and under . Charge for this is 62 a day if not in yacht club and this covers 98 percent of the drinks. We really enjoy high end stuff so we bought the premium plus for a extra 17 a day each. The plus includes all drinks sold by the glass in including really high end scotch and cognac that cost 200 a bottle like Johnny Walker blue and XO cognac and French champagne. No problems getting doubles with either package .
You can even get priority elevator service , butler will escorted you to shows which were good and off ship.
We were on deck 16 which also has extremely large lounge with large bar and great service from waiters along with snacks. One floor up is the restaurant which is also really nice , with great service and food. There was also live music from about 5 to 11pm, most nights music was a duet , piano and violin player doing mostly classical, then a jazz piano player they would alter every hour or so , some nights they added a guitar player. Also outside area that had a smoking and non smoking area. Top floor had a pool and a couple of hot tubs and another restaurant open for breakfast and lunch and of course another bar. Lots of pool chairs, no issues with finding one.
Several music venues in main ship a few guitar players and a really good jazz group, large sports bar.
I thought this was by far a better deal than suites or other lines.
Will be happy to answer any other questions, will add more info if my memory recovers from all that Johnny Walker blue.
