MSC Cruises Has Just Posted the Following:
MSC Cruises UK and Ireland has won Best Off-Shore Cruise Line Operator in the category "Places you visit - attractions and destinations" at the 2010 Group Travel Awards annual celebration which recognizes the very best suppliers in the group travel industry as voted by readers of the Group Travel Organiser Magazine.
The results were announced during a dazzling gala evening attended by more than 400 travel trade delegates. Attending the event on behalf of MSC Cruises UK and Ireland was group executive Julio Fernandez and business development executive for London, Rochelle Francis, who proudly accepted the award presented by leading travel journalist Simon Calder.
Giulio Libutti, managing director MSC Cruises UK and Ireland, commented, ‘Group travel is an important growing sector within the cruise industry. We have been continually investing and improving our service, right through from the booking process and value-for-money special offers to the service and facilities offered onboard. It is great that our commitment has been acknowledged and honoured in this way. We will continue to work hard so that we can hopefully win the award again next year.'
