Hi Folks,

Wife and I are planning a cruise to Jamaica, Cozumel and Grand Cayman this January. I personally have been to all 3 places, but haven't been to Jamaica since 2005, at that time it was advisable not to wonder off by oneself or with you spouse, STAY in groups. Is the advise the same 8 years later??? Need some help please.

We haven't been to Mo Bay in years & it was bad back then. (1987). I suspect it hasn't changed all that much. If you wander off by yourself you're asking to be picked on and as I remember it there wasn't much close by to walk to. Why not get together with a few couples for better security. Your chances of getting pricked on will be a lot better in a crowd.
It's the only island we go to where we don't venture off by ourselves (other than Trinidad) and we've been to all of them over & over during the years.
