My wife and I got a great deal on Celebrity's Mercury for their 1/10/03 sailing. $2053. for two adults and two children for a cat 6 outside cabin. The cruise line has told us that most of their ships are family friendly ( including the Mercury ). My travel agent has mentioned this line is for older crowds and there are few kids on board (ages 4 and 6 ). Has anyone ever take kids or grand kids on this ship? We have traveled Princess, RCCL and Carnival. Is there a real difference between this line and the other three? The ship has a reputation for outstanding food and service which interest us the most.
