Hi Fonqa,We have sailed on the Mercury on the Alaska itinerary in the past. In general we find that it is usually quieter in the forward cabins, and it was quiet on the Mercury. Stability should not be a problem as most of your voyage you will be in the inland water ways protected from heavy seas and winds. Pitch and roll are much the same on a ship of this size depending on how far you are from the center of the ship and the water line. We had a great time on our Alaskan cruise and loved the ship and the itinerary.Peter
