Don't mean to contradict you W.B., but I really believe that the $25 p.p. charge is only for the specialty resturants (which I have thoroughly enjoyed) that are only found on the millennium class ships. The Mercury (and other century class ships) has alternate dinning ( by reservation) in an area of the Palm Springs Cafe, located on the pool deck. Many people find the expereince slightly more relaxing than the main dinning room, however, unlike the specialty restuarnts, the menu is usually the same, or very similar to the dinning room's menu. Last I knew the charge was only $2 p.p, which covers gratuities. Maybe you might want to email celebrity just to clarify.Ric
