Not me, I'll be going the week after you! Quite excited too! Can't wait. We've been on voyager 2 years ago and have been desperate ever since to go cruising again!

I think you will be so pleased with RCCL, especially the Voyager class ships. They are too incredible to explain! We were totally blown away when we boarded the Voyager a couple of years ago and still in awe when we sailed the Explorer in Jan. 2002. Absolutely can't wait until Dec. to try the Mariner. Prepare to just stand and stare, especially at the Promenade. Take lots of film, your friends at home won't believe you when you tell them about the ship. Have a blast!

Will be on the Mariner Dec 14-21. Cannot wait..3rd Royal Carib Voyager class cruise.
Took a side trip on Carnival and regretted it ever since...Rushing back as fast as my legs will run. The Voyager Class is the marvel of the cruise lines..there is something for everyone.We always have the same room..8546 with Balcony. This ship works for us in everyway. When you stand on the dock and look up at the ship you are in "shock and awe"..Happy Sailing everyone..

Carnival=Pride and Victory

Hi Mary,

Noticed that you have cruised DCL a couple of times. We have done DCL twice, Voyager-class twice, and others....

Booked on the Mariner in Feb '04.

I have a comparison of the DCL ships and the RCCL-Voyager ships on my web site. Anoyone interested, drop me an e-mail. FOr families, those are two great choices. Really, no wrong answer .. but there are differences.

Hi Mary !

We are booked on the same cruise and dates as you. It is my hubby and I (32), his parents, and my brother and cousin (30's). This is our first RCCL cruise and I cannot wait ! we have done one cruise on the Grand Princess last year to roughly the same itinerary, but 3 of our group are first time cruisers this trip, so i wanted to have a good impression made on them so they will want to go again sometime. I figure how much better can it get than a brand new Voyager class ship ?! So, I'm sure we'll all have a great time. I am already planning the excursions, etc. and making up packets of info for everyone. I booked via cruisequick.com for $1398 per cabin, 3 inside deck 10 cabins cat M, all in a row. Have fun preparing for your cruise, and I'll see you on the ship !

Hi all,

I am too a first time RCCL cruiser. I usually sail on DCL, but decided to visit Jamiaca this year, so I am trying RCCL out. I am very excited as I will be on the Mariner's maiden Western Cruise on Nov.30th! I was suppose to go on Sept.20th on the Navigator, but had to chnage my dates due to a work conflict. Anyway, so now I have to go through the waiting thing all over again and it's driving me crazy!LOL!
See ya on board Tiptoeonthewaves!
