We are booked on 2025 Flower Power Cruise on Celebrity Summit this will be our 5th Flower Power we were booked for 2020 and 2021 but due to Covid they were canceled so 2015 would have been 7th Flower Power but thanks to Covid it will only be number 5.

Would love to do flower power , but wife loves the music from the 70’s so we do rock and romance a week earlier , we only missed the first rock and romance cruise so next one will be our 7th . Many of the same artists appear on both .

Hay George, I think my wife might prefer the 70s cruise as well but this is my 65th birthday present to myself. Was kind of back and forthing between the two butFP seems to have a stronger lineup and more origenal artists and less tribute groups.

yes sir, my first. Been looking at the line up for the past few years and honestly the cost kind of scared me off but as I said I decided this was what I wanted for my 65 birthday and since I only get one of those I pulled the trigger.

you are going to enjoy yourself so much I promise it’s like a floating Woodstock for seven days and for the seven days you will feel 18 again. They say you can’t go back but you can visit your youth for seven days again!

a very cool aside. Wife and I went to a 60s R and R revival show last weekend featuring The Drifters, Brian Hyland, The Happenings, the Brooklyn Bridge and two young guys who are "keeping the music alive". anyway one was a school teacher fron the Bronx(I believe)named Vinny (?) who was getting on the Malt shop Memories cruise the following day. He did an AMAZING rendition of Kara Mia Why. I've seen Jay and the Americans multiple times and this kid nailed it! He introed the song by telling a story about Jay Black seeing video of him performing it and he sent him a signed 45 with a note giving his blessing and telling him to keep singing it! It was obvious what he was going to sing and I was thinking, "this is either going to be amazing or really suck." And in my humble opinion he could easily step into the Jay role with the current version of the group who I believe was added to our sailing.
