Kathy,We have been on the Monarch of the Seas and the sister ship the Majesty of the Seas. RCCL is really great. The Monarch has been recently updated but if I were to go on another RCCL I would pick the newer ships that are out. A girl at work just went on the Explorer of the Seas and had a great time and loved it and it was her first cruise. Good Luck! We are hooked on cruising and there is no better way to spend a week than on a cruise.Cheryl
